I said that Mora was going to win by decision ... I said that Lopez was going to win by KO ... I said that Williams was going to win by KO ... I said the pace was going to be too much for Quitana the second time around ... I said that Pavlik was going to win by KO. Forrest is too old ... and I said that in one of my previous posts ... I said that Ponce De Leon was too robotic and that Lopez was too skilled ... Lockett never stood a chance ...
You're absolutely correct ... I was thinking that Cotto would brawl instead of box and get caught with some bull**** ... I didn't think that Gomez had an edge over Cotto in any way besides a punchers chance ... hope to catch Cotto slipping and land a lucky punch.
Guys check out my past posts ... at first I was opposed to Mora winning but as I thought about it ... I started to lean towards Mora. I knew that Lopez was going to win by KO and my post proved to be true ... The same goes for Williams and Pavlik ...
Mora's win over Forrest gave the contender series some clout ... I think that it was much needed to give some seriousness to the series and let everyone know that they did have some legit fighters on that series ... I don't think highly of the contender and I don't think that highly of Mora but he should do good in a weak division and he should do good for "contender promotions"
I called em all myself and the proof can be traced to my posts, however I thought Williams would win a decision I was shocked by the KO I expected a **** decision via the jab using his physical advantages. All the rest I thought would go the way they went, including Mora that weasel winning a decision he is a Calzaghe without the workrate or Offense.
Don't be surprised if Cotto wins in devasting fashion or losing by devasting KO ... he has the option and it all depends on how he chooses to fight. Don't be surprised if Pac gets KO ... starting off at 106 pounds then moving up to 135 is alot of weight classes ... and Diaz has been fighting at light weight his whole career and has only lost to a boxer in Kendal Holt ... we also don't know about Pacquiao's speed and strength going up yet another weight class.
Nice calls. Very nice, actually. Williams-Quintana was truly a pick'em fight, to me at least. And Ponce De Leon was the betting favorite. Although I'm quite disappointed that Mr. Stupid ****head Sergio Mora had to win a ****ing world title for you to go 4 for 4 on your picks. I hate that guy!
I said in my previous posts that I don't like Mora but I don't like Forrest any more than I like Mora ... add to that - that Mora is alot younger and is coming down for middleweight ... he's truly a big welterweight -- With under 10 KO's in 20 fights ... it truly shows that he's fighting at a weight that he's not truly built for.
