I didnt know he was a Danish puffter. Would have been interesting fighting Miranda, Two B class fighters dueling it out.

One a nasty Brawler another a standard Jab Jab Right hand fighter.

I do believe Kessler is overrated, but he's still has good overall skills, that should be able to beat most fighters around 168, but he showed others weakness in the Calzaghe fight, he fell apart and couldnt adjust when the going got tough, even when the opertunity was there, he froze up and couldnt pull the trigger. Miranda would be a tough fight for most at that weight, Kessler is now having second thoughts, he needs to fight a few C class guys to get his confidence back, it's a most if he wants to compete with some of the elite of the division.

Im not bashing Kessler, I think he has solid skills and could still beat most of the fighters at 168, but I think the Calzaghe fight proved to many, including myself, that he's not as good as some made him out to be. The uppercuts he landed early on was the only thing that impressed me in that fight, I remember a handful of times, Calzaghe leaving his head wide open with his hands down, and Kessler did nothing, as well as times when Calzaghe was throwing wild slapping punches, and Kessler was rarely able to counter him effectively, a great fighter finds a way to overcome and win a tough fight, especially when your oppenent gives you enough opertunities to do so.

come on, he lost a tough fight to a great fighter, there is no shame in that. And I don't see how he let anyone down by weighing his options, taking a route that he felt was a better opportunity, and moving to a deeper division.

All I'm saying is, he's not a great as some make him out to be. If Kessler wouldve of came out and said " I dont want Miranda right now, I'm looking for a bigger fight at this time", I think people would respect that, and it would go no further. Kessler made the mistake of verbally agreeing with Miranda to fight, and now is backing out, he deserves the backlash, he brought it on himself.

Why entertain and agree to a fight you never wanted in the first place? It makes no sense to me, it just makes Kessler look a like punk IMO.

He an excelelnt fighter I give him props for fighting Calzaghe in Wales.

Do you think Frank Warren would let his fighter go to Denmark and fight a yound hungry guy.....no Chance....Calzaghe wouldn't because....he likes all the cards stacked in his favour.

I have more respect for Kessler than Calzaghe who definatley is over rated.

b/c a better offer came out...who wouldve predicted that Green wouldve abruptly retired like that? I personally wish he would stay at 168, and I love Miranda, but 175 is the tougher road.
