I told you Lemieux is overrated!

Lemeiux isnt bad, he still has some good wins.

Saunders is just that much better than him and deserves credit.

 

He's not quite that bad, but yeah, he's not elite. Can't wait to see Saunders vs Canelo / GGG / Jacobs or even Charlo / Derevyanchenko next year hopefully.

 

The MW division has sure gone from bumland to must see!

You're right. Can't believe how many stupid people rated Lemieux so high.

 

People confuse exciting with good.

Arturo Gatti was good, not great, not very good, just good.

David Lemieux, he's exciting, and he's better than most C level fighters and some B level fighters, but I can't see him beating Canel0, GGG, Jacobs, Charlo, Andrade, Lara, Trout and obviously Saunders.

That's 8 opponents who I feel are to smart and too skilled to lose to Lemieux. Of course DL has a puncher's chance, any fighter with respectable power does though, so no great feat.

 

I dont think Lemieux is overated. He isnt pound for pound rated and has earnt his standing in the division and the chances to fight for belts. He is a genuine contender and threat at Middleweight. GGG, Jacobs and BJS are all above him in everybodys books, there are others that could be seen above him but thats up for debate and if its up for debate then he belongs in and around that area and if thats the case he isnt overated.

His style of fighting is full of holes and can be picked apart but he is an expert at that style, Boxing beats it if your a good enough Boxer. Ricky Hatton had a style that could be picked to pieces but he beat many a decent Boxer because he was a total expert in a flawed style of fighting.
