i scored the fight 115 to 113 for reid despite a harsh points deduction. what are peoples thoughts on this please.................
As it happens, I also had it 115-113 Joe Reid said: "I can't argue with the decision. Joe was the better boxer on the night and I knew I could not catch him for speed."
i dunno reid clearly did not dominate the rounds while joe did. maybe ried looked to of won more rounds but joe did fight back a bit. it's abit like hagler leonard (but of course ona totally different scale) you could say that leonard yes did win maybe more rounds but he didnt win the fight. you have to beat the champion and robin didnt do the job properly
yawn #if u watch the fight u'll see the fans that night were v anti Joe. Watch th fight then you can pretend to kno what your on about.
I thought Reid won, infact I think I had it 7-4. The only thing is Reid didn't dominate the rounds clearly, there's at least 6 rounds that could go either way, but if I were the judge that night Reid would've got the nod. Robin Reid is the ONLY man to have given Calzaghe such a close fight. Not even Kessler kept it as competetive as Reid did, Robin was always an underrated fighter even in his prime.
