Beat Wlad...He can do it , he has the endurance and insane workrate...if he beats wlad , then we'll get to see him vs Vitali.

I disagree , i think Povetkin has a legitimate chance even today. Espcially against Wlad. He puts pressure on all his opponents. His workrake is incredible. His combos are great , he's not a KO artist but he compensates with his combo accumulations. His amateur record speaks volumes and his pro career is already a solid indication of what he's worth.

Povetkin is not Sultan nor Thompson...He'll put max pressure...Even when he's not physically apt to follow the pace of the fight , (such as in his fight vs Chambers because he was too fast for him)...He still managed to pull it off because he's got the workrate of a machine.

He has the potential to grab a decision imo. I'm not saying it's a certainty , but i don't think wlad's reign is secure against a guy like that.

Depends on his chin. If he can take Wlad's right and keep coming forward, he was a real chance.

his combos are great when he is fighting a 40year old donald or fat cw chambers, but he won't pull off many combos against a prime wlad.

Povetkin is the truth, but so is Wladimir.

This fight will be great.. Wladimir will have to dig deep.

Wlad klitschko being too cautious and hesitant against Thompson and Sultan indicates to me that a very aggressive fighter with a ridiculous workrate (povetkin) has the potential to grab a decision. His chances are real imo. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I actually think the fight will be closer than you may think, Povetkin is not used to losing. He beat the best of the best without much problems in the amatuers, and the amatuer heavyweights were good when he was around:deal

I think every round will be close, the one that finds a way to win rounds soundly will win the fight. At the end of the day, Wladimir should be the betting favorite, but not by that much.

I don't have blind faith in a povetkin victory. However i see a real potential & a real threat. I think he's got what it takes to win a decision. I'm not saying he'll make it for sure.

Having blind faith is being absolutely certain that wlad klitschko will beat him no matter what. And i'm sure that deep down not a single one of you guys are sure about it. Because if you were , you'd all be multi-millionaires. Becaue you'd only have to constantly bet the house on the guy because you'd know 100% for sure that he'd pull the victory.

But truth of the matter is...You don't. That's why you're not insane enough to bet all the money you have in the bank on this guy.

I think my argument is valid enough. Wlad klitschko was too cautious against the likes of Thompson and even the smaller Sultan...Povetkin is a different specimen. He's got the best workrate in the division. he is very endurant too. If his chin can handle it...He' s a genuine threat to Wlad's reign.

I'm really excited about this one and hope it lives up to my expectations.

and vice versa. You're just proving that Povetkin is also a threat.

I dont think anyone will grab a decision against Wladimir. At least not in the next 2,3 years. You ko him, or you lose. He is too big, too technically sound, and he can always increase his pressure and the numbers of right hands if it would be close on the cards.

If he beats both of those ugly Frankenstein Russians, I'll put his photo up in the Living room, next to Floyd Jr.'s, Tito's and Jesus's.
