I truly believe Mayweather Promotions will overtake Top Rank/GBP in the next 10 years

    Mayweather promotions is some FLoyd hanger on trying to make money off his back.

    Whats the best fight theyve done? Smith v Bundrage?

    Floyd will be broke ass in 10-15 years anyway.

    I don't agree. I believe there's better brains in Mayweather Promotions. They seem like they know what they are doing

    When Mayweather Promotions first began it was just a name and Floyd was really under Golden Boy, which is still true. The reason is because Mayweather Promotions was still building up and getting more fighters under it's name. Now they are definitely rising and will be bigger in the future.

    One thing I think is for sure, is that Mayweather Promotions will never take over Golden Boy. Instead, I see them both working together to put on good fights. Floyd has said numerous times that he likes working with Golden Boy and that they are a team.

    You never know. I think GBP and Mayweather Promotions will co-promote some fights. But sooner or later, Mayweather's company will do bigger and better things and overtake Oscar and his boys.

    I would be more comfortable betting that Floyd ends up broke in 10 or 15 yrs time. But that's just me. Here's hoping you're right.....I just don't think the chances are likely he all the sudden can turn things around and change his business sense.

    They are co-promoting right now. I've noticed that you are pretty biased in favour of Mayweather all the time. A projection like Mayweather promotions (a small promotion team) taking over an established Golden Boy is far fetched.

    Golden Boy started with just a handful of fighters. Oscar made a lot of action fights to build his brand. Fans knew they were getting a good fight when Golden Boy first came out.

    Mayweather will need to change his public image of a cherry picker. That's not going to be easy to do. But, if he keeps Haymon around, he could, over time build a solid promotional team.

    oscar promotes all shows and all his successful boxers have their own "promotions"
    he makes them do that
