I Underate Rocky Marciano!

Marciano AND Dempsey are both top 5 heavyweights in my book, but both get a bad rap here.

Marciano's case is rock solid.
As much as I love Sonny Liston, rating a guy like him, for example, above Rocky is nonsense, IMO. But each to their own.

 

I have no problem calling him a legend, just not a great boxer.

 

That is inevitable.

Marciano is like a crude, stronger, but less skilled Mormeck.

 

Who is this troll saying haye would beat Marciano? wow. Marciano by knock out but anyway friends..
I've got the Rock in my top 3 at the moment.

 

I don't know, but I've a son who can do better with computer graphics... he's only 12 (although he thinks there is something magical regarding being a teenager)

Anyway, who knows what CHJ's agenda is regarding this one. If he thinks his posts are accurate, he's an idiot. If not, he might just be trying to get a person's goat, as it were. There are people on here that post stuff contrary to what they really think, believe it or not. Maybe he is one of them, although I've no clue as I rarely read their posts.

 

It is apparent to anyone with reasonable cognitive abilites that Haye would have little trouble in defeating Marciano. Hayes power would absolutely devastate Rocky as he attempts to get close.

I like your avatar, stick with it Otherwise you are completely stupid regarding Marciano..... If you can't see that, I don't know that I want to waste the time "arguing" with you.

 

If you want to see how David Haye vs Marciano goes, just watch Marciano vs Harry "kid" Matthews. Haye's chin will not be able to take Marciano's left hook, right cross, uppercuts, or any weird punch that isn't in the book.


Marciano knocked out every single contender he faced, no champion has ever done that in the 50 years of boxing before and after him. His dominance and consistance ranks up there with anyone. At the very least, he should be in the top10, i have him at #4.

Yes, but i will reassess in a couple of months. I see good points on various fighters almost daily in here. Lists are tough as i am sure you said lol
