Kessler v Pavlik and Kessler v Miranda need to happen soon just so everybody will stop wondering over and over again on this board about the outcomes. If Kessler wins convincingly, there's a new star in the pbf rankings. If he loses decisively, he's done and we can move on to other fighters.

 

I basically agree with all you say here, but there is a catch I'm afraid. Those muscles Kessler carries on his body sucks up loads of fuel/energy. Point being that if Kessler runs out of gas the way he did during the mid-rounds against Calzaghe, Pavlik would be all over him with solid punches.

 

Miranda and Kessler couldn't get a deal done. I don't see why Kessler would be afraid of Miranda, more likely Miranda is just running his mouth as always. He ran his mouth before the Pavlik fight...then he was spitting out his mouth piece till his head cleared.

 

Kessler-ala-king: "Bawk! ... Bawk!, Bawk!"

 

Because Pavlik is sloppy at times, leaky D, squared up, lacks speed like Kessler has and his jab and timing would be much less apparant against a guy with competent defence, like Kessler for example.

Kessler will beat him to the jab everytime. It's an easy fight for him.

 

Kessler needs a tune-up first. Of course he's not going to step into the ring with Miranda after his first defeat, especially when he has the chance to regain his title quickly.

there is absolutly no doubt it was palles call when they turned the miranda fight down, dont ask me what was going on in the old mans head, but it is out of the question that kessler should be afraid of miranda! kessler went down under to beat mundine and went to joe c backyard to fight him so why on earth should he all of a sudden fear a guy who lost both of his topfights ???? makes no sence what so ever
