    A DISGRACE TO BOXING.

Most people already do not believe they should be fighting again. I know many Floyd fans believe it's ok for him to go to england to fight ricky for a huge payday.

but after this fight, all those talks have to be out the window. ricky clearly showed he has no business in the ring with someone like Floyd or any decent welterweight boxer for that matter.

FLoyd has always said he likes to fight the best. Him fighting hatton the first time was completely understandable b/c at the time Hatton was the best 140 lb'er. But at this point, it's quite clear that Ricky doesnt have a chance in the world to beat floyd.

So if Floyd takes this fight, it would be absolutely disgraceful.

It would be the worst big fight PPV rematch since DLH-Chavez 2.

Don't think he'll take it so don't worry. It's DLH next and most likely Cotto/Margarito winner after it. Don't know how Floyd will manage to move up then down again for 2 different fights but it looks like he will.

Floyd should have to fight Hatton again with his left hand cut off.

It's the CHALLENGER that calls out the champion in the division, who's the undisputed champion at Welterweight and rated #1?, has Cotto's team officially called his team?
If yes please post with facts and links, thanks. :good

Margarito has been calling Floyd out for years now.

Floyd picks and chooses who he wants to fight and no ammount of "calling out" will force that.

Still nothing big there, let me remind you of what happened if you forgot.
Floyd moves up to Welterweight in plan to meet the undisputed champion Zab Judah in a fight EVERYONE wanted to see even more than Hatton/Floyd(please note that Hatton was contacted before Floyd moved up and turned the fight down). He fights Mitchell as a tune-up as Zab fights Baldomir, Floyd wins and Zab loses. Floyd then tries to get a fight with Baldomir but is turned down then takes on Judah instead, you think he would've made the date fighting Margarito instead?, the answer is NO. Margarito was coming off a fight with Manuel Gomez only 2 months before Floyd met Zab. Then Floyd wins of course and goes after the man to beat and undisputed champion in Baldomir(No, the undisputed champion wasn't Margarito, want to explain why considering he has been in that division ALL his career please?). Yes, many wanted Mayweather to fight Baldomir since many thought Mayweather is scared shitless of aggressive fighters(noobs that haven't seen more of Mayweather, obviously). The fight is over, Mayweather has an option to fight Margarito or DLH, want to remind me how many people wanted a DLH fight more than a worthless and pointless fight in Margarito?, please note that the DLH fight was at a new weight division for a new title in a new division for Mayweather. Then team Hatton publicly and officially call out the champion of the welterweight division in Mayweather and get a deal done, did Cotto's team call?, as far as Margarito is concerned it's hardly as big or important as a fight with Hatton(a fight talked about for years) nor a fight with Cotto so it's pretty easy to decide and change your mind when a fight is over.

Not defending either fighter, but styles make fights ... this guy Lazcano had a game plan and tried to execute it perfectly ... he wasn't fast nor was he athletic enough to really make an impression, but he did his best and he didn't come in there like he was going to get overwhelmed - he came to fight and thats what he did.

I would like to credit him for his effort and having moments in the fight where he seemed live.

I don't think that Hatton will fight Mayweather the same as he fought Lazcano ... to Hatton's credit it was his first fight since suffering his first loss as a pro ... some people don't recover - especially riding a streak like Hatton's ... I think Hatton handled himself well and made due with what he had in front of him.

It'll be interesting ... I didn't see anything wrong with the way Hatton fought ... he's fighting something much bigger than any man that he could face in the ring. That burning thought in the back of his mind "could this happen again? ... I can't believe I got knocked out"

His aura of invincibility is gone ... its very hard to recover from that ...

People don't go in the ring with the mindset that their going to lose - let alone get knocked out ... he wasn't prepared for the loss --

If Hatton and Floyd hook up again ... it won't matter what any of us think ... there would be 1million Western Europeans that would be more than interested in this fight.

The fight will generate money and to some, more than others wouldn't be considered a disgrace to boxing - on the part of either fighter.
