this reason. People forget that Angulo has not had that many pro fights. He came back against a guy who could box a little, and Angulo never let him get off the ground. He kept the pressure up, and when he had his quarry hurt, he finished him. I thought it was a punch on the break at first, but after the replay, I saw that Rosado committed the worst sin in boxing. He waited for the ref to separate the two...WITH HIS HANDS DOWN. Dumb!!! Fight until the ref comes in to separate or says somethingbreak the two.

You are not reading this incorrectly. I like Anthony more than Andre, and both are talented. Anthony does need to step up his comp if his eye is ok. I never agree with Atlas, but he made a point. I still think Anthony has more talent than his brother Andre who is world ranked, and Andre has gotten better, and is seen as the better fighter right now. But...

Anthony was knocking guys out impressively before the cancer hit. Most people will probably think the opposite way that I'm thinking when it comes to thse two, but that is just me. I'm not counting last nights fight, nor the one he struggled in his first fight back. I think Anthony can come all the way back to what he was becoming, and that is a pure boxer/puncher. Can both Dirrel btoehrs do what the Marquez brothers have done?... Only time will tell.

Did anyone see the African guy come to the ring in a cage with the lion's head over his head. That was funny. The ref was Jay Nady, and guess what lol... The African guy hit the other guy with a temple shot ala Tyson-Berbick, and the guy wobbled around before he fell, got up wobbly, and guess what... Nady LET IT GO ON LOL... He stopped Judah's fight with Kostya, a fight in which the division had not had a unification fight in the last 25 years...and stopped his count at 4 instead of 8, and said Judah was unfit to continue even though Judah was up before 6... but gave this guy who was wobbled badly a second chance lol... Nady counted to 8 and asked him if he was ok, and let HIM fight on lol... Aint dat a blip lol...

I don't disagree with this post. You notice Angulo didn't let Rosado box in the center, he did well in the 1st rd, but Angulo knew what he was doing.Good show by him. As far as the Marquez brothers, it does seem that we're going to see plenty of the Dirrell's, they'll sure get their chance won't they?...

I'm real excited about Anthony Dirrell, too. I think Gary Shaw will start stepping up his competition level pretty soon. I imagine we'll see him in a better fight in one of the next few ShoBox cards. As far as who has more talent, it's tough to say right now. Both have absolutely elite speed, but I think Andre might be a little faster. I don't know if I see that much difference in natural punching power; both seem to rely on their superior hand speed to generate their snap.

Andre's technique is more complete. His defense is more sound. Anthony has great natural athletic ability, but he has to stop jumping in. He's a KO waiting to happen against a top contender who can bang.

Good posts. I hear both you guys. I don't know if he is a ko waiting to happen, but he does need to tighten up. Guys tend to tighten up more when the comp is elevated. Time will tell.

I feel his brother is gonna tighten up his defense and popshot carl froch to death. I see a llate stoppage in that one. As far as anthony dirrel, last night was my first time seeing him and I was impressed with the speed but he did leave himself open. That guy had so much taken out of him that he couldn't hurt anthony dirrel.

Angulo is awesome. He had a virus which was announced before the fight. He would knock Cintron out in a rematch. He has extremely heavy hands! He is a future world champion, watch and see.

This is my first time seeing Anthony Dirrell last friday night and let me say he has the real good talent to be one of the best fighters in the future along with his Brother Andre but Anthony needs to work on his combinations cause Last friday night Anthony was waiting too much. Like Atlas said Anthony needs to step up to a real competitsion.

Why is Angulo being moved so quickly? He is not an olympic schooled fighter like David Reid or Fernando Vargas was, so why is he being moved so fast? He only has like 16 pro fights. Maybe being 26 is why, but in today's fight game, 26 is young imo.

He looked good when he was letting his punches go. He looked good overall, but he has to fine tune some things with his defense center ring. But his mistakes (picking off shots center ring)were against a guy who could not reach him.
