Until today, I used to think "Oh well this Floyd cherrypicking thing is a joke, it'll fade, I mean it's not true so whatever"

Then I realized, you guys are actually serious. You guys actually think Floyd cherrypicked through his entire career. You guys are really going to try to make this a part of his legacy. That is the craziest **** I've ever seen in my life. You guys started a trend so strong, based on stupid opinion and false knowledge, that it might actually follow through. I hear casuals who know nothing about the sport on my blog regurgitating the ****. It's an actual thing. Everything he's ever accomplished, every champion he's ever beat, all the lineal titles, all the KO's, all the times he's fought fighters who were coming off career best wins. From when he couldn't sell 50 seats in Grand Rapids, to holding the record for gate/PPV, you guys really think he's cherrypicked his entire career. It's asinine.

He & Pacquiao has faced some of the SAME fighters, and Floyd beat a lot of them first, and when they were better versions of themselves, and none of that matters because Floyd has programmed you all to hate him. It's crazy. He's fought once a year since around 06, and yet somehow he ducked the entire WW division despite being gone for less than 2 years.

This "cherrypicker" thing might actually follow him after his career, despite having the best resume of his generation. It'll still follow him around. And with Pac signing that extension, he won't even be able to beat him, because if he did it would probably shut up 90% of the cherry-picker claims. It's amazing that a man with HOF's ATG's on his record is considered a cherry picker and it's even more insulting to the fighter's he's beat because it belittles their accomplishments as well.

Good work though *******s, you have managed to completely sway the thoughts of a generation with your bias bull****.

Pathetic, but Impressive. You have to belittle one fighters accomplishments to make your fighter look better.

    It's insane.

Just goes to show you Bob Arum is a hell of a promoter seriously though Hoya losing to Hopkins in 04' is why Mayweather beating him isn't a good win, but Morales losing 6 fights in a row including two to Pacquiao is great. Pacquiao fighting fighters coming off KO's and embarrassing losses is great but Mayweather fighting champs on extended winning streaks of 3+ years in most cases is trash. If anyone can make that make sense I'd like to hear.

Always this floyd fought guys coming off career highs...ok, maidana beat broner...who sucks! Canelo basically lost to trout right? Guerrero and ortiz beat berto?! Cotto beat a guy you probly criticized pacquiao for beating cuz he was done. N actually cotto just reinjured margaritos broken face bone that pacquiao broke first. Marquez beat juan Diaz. Baldomir beat gattie...(and zab) Zab lost to Baldomir. I could keep going. Is anyone really that impressed? Were they all coming off huge career defining wins?

    What's the problem with being 30 on a boxingforum? I'm 31 and post/read here. It's a sports forum not a tween-music-and-pop-culture site.

Floyd times fights like he times fighters throwing punches. He maximises return while minimising risk. Call him the ****** Buffet of the boxing world. Except this is boxing, not risk avoidance.

Fonzie saying he has the best resume of his generation killed your whole argument. He has a bunch of names on his resume but fought none of them at the pinnacle of their careers aside from corrales. He's supremely talented but has had a well crafted career that has seen him fight 1.5 times on average in the last decade, that's not enough to impress people and when you have a big annoying mouth, like he does, people are going to call you out. That will be his legacy. I agree some idiots are out of control with their hatred and judgement, but Atg like hagler and Duran are saying the same thing. Do you think their trolling too?
