I think he meant it like in the Lewis vs Klit fight. Lewis won the fight but Klit won the event. He just came off sounding stupid tho.
Yeah but at least Klitschko came into the fight as an underdog, so him giving an unexpectedly good account of himself made sense as far as winning the "story" goes.
Was Canelo not the underdog, coming in much smaller and before and apparently no longer chemically enhanced? Was he not expected to be either running away or to be murdered if he stood and traded?
That's kinda like declaring a handicapped person the winner of the Boston Marathon because he finished it against the odds.
