I have to come to his defense.

Weight cutting is a part of the game, it`s a risk a fighter takes because there is always a good chance than you will drain yourself too much. Nonito has had a amazing career and he`s a humble likable guy in general, i don`t know why he gets as much hate as he does. There`s plenty of big weight cutters today yet none of them seem to get the venom Nonito does for cutting weight. Think of fighters like Danny Garcia( heard he was at 170 wtf), Mikey Garcia, Salido, Young Floyd/Pac, Bradley, Beterbiev etc. Hell Walters looked HUGE for a feather yesterday, i bet he cuts too. Thats another thing i like about donaire, he`s never ducked anyone, he`s been the far bigger fighter and now also the smaller fighter. I`m really hoping it isn`t the Pac/Floyd bitter rivalry spilling unto another fighter just because Nonito is the same ethnicity as Pac (even though Nonito is american nationality wise).

i also hear a lot of comments of Donaire fighting midgets, well no **** einstein, he`s 5 foot 5 lmao.:patsch

I think he`s one of those fighters we will appreciate once he`s gone.
Lets show this warrior some love before he retires.

  2. Warrior?

He mentally folded in the Rigo fight and wanted to quit against Darchinayan.

Rigo had his number. Rigo is also one of the best in the game right now so it's no great shock or mark against Donaire.

He might have wanted to quit against Vic but he didn't. The fact that he forced himself to go back out there and then dug deep to win is (at least in my opinion) a good indication of the 'warrior' mentality.

To me, he`s a warrior because he could have avoided Rigo like Santa Cruz and all the other champs. He took risky fights he didn`t necessarily need to. He may have mentally folded but he still gave it his all and fought everyone.

I'm more critical of Nonito not using his right hand to do anything.

So 1 dimensional in that sense.
