You better support your guy and make him the new king for all this smack talking I see. It better be more than 500,000 or I'm calling hype job.
More of you bought Mayweather vs Maidana and Pacquiao vs Rios.

You're basically the problem. It's not all about money - Mayweather's early ppv's were ****. He only got good ppv money when he started running his mouth.

I ordered this fight and watched it by myself because I understand the importance of the PPV buys. If GGG sells well, the bigger name boxers (as well as the paper champions) will have no choice but to fight him. This not only allows GGG to cement a legacy for himself, but it allows boxing to grow as it should.

Mayweather wasn't 33 when he had his first ppv.

It will do similar to Mayweather's most recent PPV - 400K buys

Golovkin is an exciting fighter, Roid Mayweather is a woman beater and a cheater...............................I bought the fight and I am glad I did. I did not buy the Roid/Berto fraud fight and I and so many others are glad they didn't buy that joke fight as well..................

Who cares about PPV numbers? That was a masterclass performance against a top MW. True boxing fans don't get a **** about PPV numbers. Card may have not been PPV worthy, but who cares? Doesn't detract from the performance at all.....

The truth is if this does more than 280k/300k .. it would be a HUGE success. At 250k it fulfils expectations.

At 500k you're making up fantasy numbers.

    Breakeven is 150k.

    It surely turned a profit.

See I always thought it was about good fights and not the PPV numbers that made a night a success.

If it does over 275k buys, it's not bad.
If it does over 400k, then the drawing power of GGG cannot be denied, he's a force.

Some of you are just crazy for stats, simple.
