I think he deserves another chance i mean realistically who else is left, it was a pretty freak occurrence and the fight looked interesting

he needs to recover and take a tune up not pull a Grant and get an injury and rush back in vs a tough foe

ACL's take 6 months to heal, but he will need to rehab and get back into training shape after. Not like he'll be able to train properly for a while and he'll have to knock the rust off.

Solis is going to be 300lbs by the time his knee is better.

Vitali would knock Solis out again. Vitali's right hook to Solis' temple made Solis drunk, he went down, injury happened after the punch put him down. Solis was knocked out and would be knocked out once again.

There's no way Solis should bump Adamek twice out of the Vitali match (Adamek was already bumped out of the March date thanks to King's and Oner's politiking). Because of his **** up, Solis should now earn his title shot instead of getting an immediate rematch.

I want to see VK/Adamek. If, after he heals up, Solis fought a reasonably young person with a name like a Povetkin or Arreola and won, then yes, I'd like to see him get another shot at Vitali.

I don't expect to see Solis in shape to fight at the top level for around 24 months.

I don't expect to see Vitali fighting in 24 months.

I really think that people will have to put the Solis/Vitali rematch into the category of wishful thinking.

The fact is that it is likely going to be Wlad who ends up fighting Solis, if Solis can come back to good form after this injury. Pencil it in for 2013. Vitali will be long gone.
