    I certainly wouldn't go for the Fury fight right away if i was Joshua's team; and not just to milk the belt. AJ is still very untested at the top level and still has a lot to learn before taking on the Fury's, Wilder's and Povetkin's of boxing.

    I think your attitude is negative. "belts mean nothing", "a belt is a belt".
    That might be true, but "THE heavyweight championship" is still something that should be worth something to us, the fans, if and when it can be established. And Klitschko established himself really well as THE champion, and Fury beat him, so we should not just throw that away and act like eveything's equal.

    "all promoters and broadcasters do the same thing", maybe, but boxing struggles with its credibility precisely because of this nonsense.

    This is fair.

    I'm being a bit hasty and also a bit rhetorical to say "I want him to lose ...".
    Overstressing it probably. I'm indifferent to whether he wins or loses. I see the pros and cons both ways. The fight would be massive and good for British and world boxing. But then again, we might have to wait years for it. It could even go the way of Bowe and Lewis !

    I do suspect that Eddie Hearn was gutted that Fury won the title though. He figured he had a cash cow with AJ regardless and Fury wasn't high up in his plans, and the idea of "chasing" a Fury fight must come as a shock to him.
    Everyone must be happy when they think about the potential money in it all now though.

    Agree about Parker - well managed and untested. Think that Dillian Whyte was AJs first proper test and if his cardio was better (and shoulder etc.) things could have been very different.

    Yeah I agree but Tyson called himself the best in the division long before he ending up proving it so its just something that everyone does to either promote themselves or their fighters, however Tyson wasn't abused for it in the last 18 months prior to proving it so I just feel like there is a constant double standard in boxing which is what I don't like. Either criticise both the same or praise people equally, not one rule for one and another for another.
