I agree with most of this contri.Miguel is my favorite fighter out there right now,but Manny's hand and footspeed may be the difference.Hope not though. However, concerning the Clottey fight, everyone forgets that Miguel was outboxing Clottey until the accidental butt that caused the cut and interfered with his vision.Miguel sucked it up even though he could barely see outside of his eye.Kinda the opposite of what JCC(one of my top 20 favorites anyway) did in the second fight against Frankie Randall when he practically asked the ref to stop the fight giving him a technical,if somewhat dubious, decision.

That Mosely-Cotto fight was the best Ive ever seen Cotto taking quality of opposition into account, I thought he clearly won the fight, not contraversial to me at all.
Cotto is not my favourite fighter but he is a very good fighter & if he fights like that vs Pacquiao he WILL beat Manny but the problem is, I havent seen Cotto look like that since that fight... maybe the 1st 6 rds of the Margo fight but not for a whole fight & Pac will be there til the end if he doesnt get KTFO 1st, his stamina is great, Miguel`s is questionable.

Pacquiao was not only put on ***** street by a jab from Nedal Hussein, a 122 pounder, but was even dropped by it. He also was wobbled by bantamweight Oscar Larios. I know for sure Cotto hits harder than both of those guys.

    See how that works?

Cottos jab is the key. Manny has to get around this. Pac can taste canvas is Cotto uses his jab counter that he does very well. That **** is like a power shot. Once Pac cant jump in and out at will then I cant see him beating Cotto fighting off the back foot. Cotto does have leaky defense though and is a slow starter.

Cotto is ****ing huge compared to Manny. I've never thought this would be a walk in the park for Pac. I see him winning a hard fought decision with alot of hard rounds and alot of adversity during the fight.

What i like about this matchup for Cotto is that Pac has always been very effective against orthodox fighters who like to use their left hand alot more than their right.

IT's gonna be a "FAST and FURIOUS" fight that doesn't last the distance. Unfortunately Styles makes fights and Cotto doesn't have the style to beat a great fighter like PAC. He'll make it interesting in the intial 3 rounds but I think it will be clear the speed and dynamics of PAC will keep him in control and ultimately places PAC in COMPLETE control by round 5 or 6 until the fight is stopped or Cotto is retired in some form or fashion. But I think it will be a very exciting fight where cotto has his spots but very limited.

Shane faught the right fight and used his natrual advantages (i.e. Speed & power) to complete keep Marg out of rythm. Shane faught a different fight than normal by throwing ALL power punches and being EXTREMELY active instead of picking his spots and being more conservative waiting for the counter.

With MARG he didn't need to wait......he was FAR faster than Tony and he saw all of his punches coming which made the fight VERY easy for Shane. IT was a GREAT victory...don't get me wrong but like PAC beating Hatton...Styles make fights.

It doesn't take away from the Greatness that we all witnessed form either fighter, but I knew PAC would dominate and I said Shane would as well and they both did. It was more of just knowing the styles and where all 4 men were at in their careers that made the prediction easy for me.

I think the intial 3 rounds will be competitve and hard for PAC...BUT....we'll all catch a glimpse of why PAC is a special fighter. He'll have a fight on his hands but think we'll see that PAC still has control over the bigger man with his boxing. I just think Cotto early on will be more of a bull who boxes but has trouble coping with the speed and movement. He may land on PAC but not flush or often enough to really slow PAC Man down. By 5 or 6 PAC will be in complete control and before the 10th I see Cotto either TKO'd or his coner retires him.

I'm watching it right now.I am not saying Cotto can't win. He's a big body puncher a key in the fight. His jab is good.LEFT hook to the head and body is lethal. However how is this supposed to simulate Pacquiao.Mosley is not a volume puncher. He is clinching and following Cotto around the ring. He's in-front of Cotto flat footed took all of Cotto shots and clinching after one punch.

    Pac doesn't let you REST.
Mosley isn't as busy as Pac.The only thing I see is Cotto power.IF it's legit as many says, Pac is in trouble.Manny get's caught on the way in or caught in one of those wild exchanges in this fight etc.But if Pacquiao tee's off on cotto at will and out of the way again.I think Cotto will not do too well...

That VID just showed how not to fight Cotto, you need to be busy like MARGO BRICKO.1 punch and clinch isn't going to do it.Clinching doesn't hurt your opponent.Clinching is for heavy tits or when boxer is tired like a mofo.I do think it's a dangerous fight.Pac speed and movement will try to off set Cotto accuracy.Miguel can hit hard when a target is in front of him that ain't moving, hit something that's moving more than he is used to.It's gonna need to time it a bit more.Cotto has power ADV and strength it could be enough that's what I see.

I think you're a knowledgeable boxing expert, but we can get it wrong too.
Who knows man. They say Cotto is too strong maybe he is, maybe he'll have problem with the speed and movement. But they said his speed is deceptive.
Who knows. My guess PAC TKO 7..

Cotto can win if he lands consistently, to the body or some how lands flush on Pac in a wild exchange, possible. That's the beauty of boxing, anything can happen. But if it gooes the distance I favor Pac.
