I want Klitschko to beat Fury, but Wlad losing would be good for the H.W division

Fury had a point when he said Wlad was boring; the last great H.W fight was Lennox Lewis vs Vitali Klitschko, and the last H.W superfight was Lennox Lewis vs Mike Tyson. But truly, the 1990's was the death of the H.W division in the states.

Wlad is a great fighter, but he's boring; the Povetkin fight made that clear. Jab, grab, jab, grab etc - it's dull. There's no excitement there, if Wlad loses against Fury, the division can be lively again.

It's pretty much like the Larry Holmes era of dominance; a great dominant H.W with a strong jab but boring as ****.

Okay, go ahead and watch Fury against Hammer and Chisora. He may be entertaining outside the ring, however he was extremely cautious during his 2 previous fights. IMO, these fights were worse than any Wlad's fight.

Fury is entertaining as an inside fighter, atleast he's willing to slug it out.

Who the hell wants to watch a repeat of Wlad-Povetkin?

Because he's not skilled enough to keep his opponents at bay. A 6'9 fighter shouldn't be looking to inside fight.

He HAS kept his opponent at bay before though, the thing is that he WANTS to brawl. He likes to fight on the inside. He could emulate Klitschko's style but I don't think he wants to.

    You poor misguided man.

    1) Having and ATG fighter on the verge of being the first many to unify all four belts and surpass Larry Holmes for #2 in defenses stumble and fall against a guy who is not even really sure he wants to be a fighter would not in any way be good for boxing.

    2) It isn't going to happen anyway. I like Fury, and I hope he finds some dedication and recovers, but he simply is not in Wlad's league.

Relax, Wlad's got this. He will take Fury out in 2, take Wilder out in two more to match Holme's defenses and unify the belts, take Glazkov out in one more to take the number two spot, and then rematch Povetkin.

Wrong. Fury showed his adaptability and ring intelligence in those fights. It showed his maturity as a boxer.

Unlike Fury , Wlad would most certainly have been all over Chisora's back every 10 seconds. And Hammers.

He clinched and held the life out of a shot inactive Mark Mormeck ffs.

Fury would have clubbed that Mormecks head off and looked like Larry Holmes doing it.

No fighter has fights worse than Wlads. None

Fury hasn't fought anyone on the level of Wlad or even close. He has fought a bunch of light punching stationary targets. 'Inside fighting' isn't how you beat Wlad.

How is it good if Fury won against Wlad, then balloons up to 350 lbs, loses against some nobody and starts a circle-jerk of B class guys winning and losing all the belts?

To me Klitschko is not boring. I like guys who are good tactician and have great jab and they are smart on the ring. Also he KO almost 90% of his opponent. Yeah he have some bad matches, but he is not 30 or 35 years old, its normal. Not to mention everyone have off nights, esp. when you have so much matches, almost 70.
And the fight with Povetkin and with Jennings as well, the two mentioned was the main reason for the bad fight.

it would be good from a $$$ point, because Wlad most likely has a rematch clause set if he'd lose, and would have to go to the UK, where a rematch would sell big

Wlad would have separated Chisora from his senses.
