I want Povetkin to just go away

I was a Povetkin fan also, gave up on him after he pussied out of fighting Wlad the 1st two times and getting with that ass-clown Atlas.

His team started matching him up strategically rather than just putting him in with the best guys available. I'm not gonna say they cherrypicked but they clearly had their eye on Vitali's belt after he retired.

 

If Rock shows up in shape and Povetkin comes in fat, 50 on Rock by KO. He knows he can't win a decision over there. Odds on Rahman by KO are like 12-1.

 

Actually Boswell was quite a solid opponent at the time Povetkin fought him, and may have been in the top ten, or just outside it. He's certainly not in the Oruh, Mora or Firtha mold of opponent. Huck was ranked pretty highly when he moved up as well, and size wise was fairly comparable to Povetkin when they fought.

Rahman is indefensible, and I've never even heard of this Pudar guy.

Just trying to put things into perspective.

 

Can't wait to see what excuses Sauerland will bring up when they try to dodge the mandatory challenge of Wlad next spring.
