    My brother made my bachelor party for this day, and we are going to an Orioles game. I know I am too big a boxing fan, because I honestly felt really depressed after finding this out. Everyone is coming so I can't back out, but yeah, I'm quite upset. Maybe after the game we can find a bar, but I'm the only boxing fan there. I like the fact I'm actually having a party and he's going through the effort, but the timing couldn't be worse.

    Please, rub salt in the wound.

    It is so Lame, it's sad. I will probably be on my cell phone texting people during the entire game, but I don't want to seem like that much as an ungreatful ass.

    Maybe you can find a sportsbar or something that's getting it? That's of course, assuming you want to be out among people in Lousiana.

    I'm going to try to find one but with the current state of boxing I'll be hard pressed to find one that will even show a boxing fight but I bet they'll have the UFC fight.:twisted:

    You're going to an Orioles game for your bachelor party? I hope you guys are gonna do some gambling and hit up a strip club afterwards. That will be your last night as a free man, have fun. If it makes you feel better, I won't be able to watch the fight either. We're throwing a surprise party for a friend of mine in Atlantic City that night.

    No gambling in Baltimore, but there are plenty of other things we can get into after the game, lol. It will be quite a collection of family members, most who don't see each other much, so I don't know how that will go over. We are getting a pretty sweet room at a nice hotel, so that's cool. I'm not a huge fan of Baltimore either, but it's nice because it's sort of in the middle for us all.

    Oh, and yes, sorry, it does make me feel better.

    Ha! a Floyd fan paying to see his Rivals fight, tell me how does it feel knowing your going to see the best two welters fight for the legit title?
    anyhow I had to set the reunion to sunday which is why I replied to your post, they set it for Saturday I told them okay I will see you all next year have fun, so instead they moved it to sunday:good

    You should've told your bro to have the party in Atlantic City. You definately could find a place that shows the fight, and you could gamble and hit up a strip club.

    Record it and watch it later. Just avoid boxing websites and the sports section in the news until you watch the fight yourself.

    easier said than done especially when you get home and the tape is still recording you know the fight is on but you dont want to catch the tail end of it, then you walk up to your office to check your e mail and BAM!!
    OMFG did you see that fight? or something like FOTY I hate that suddenly it gives what I refer to as Boxing Blue balls.

    Forgot to mention this, but the problem with that is he's only 20 :patsch. The other part is nobody else there would be even remotely interested in the fight. Yes, it's my night, but they are traveling from as far away as PA, and I want everyone to have fun, or whatever. If I'm not totally wasted after the game I might request going to a bar with the fight on and try to sneak it in. However, I highly doubt this will happen again because of my brother. He did say he's trying to get a fake ID, so, we'll see. The Fake would work in Baltimore but certainly not in AC.
