Blizzy's mum told him to leave that gang of losers and come home to clean the garage when she found out Wilder's hands weren't nearly as big as Ali's. Facts :deal:

You answered your own question. His mandatory was a bad joke that epitomized the failing to take on decent opposition. It was his first mandatory in almost 3 years of being champion. He'd fought 5 second or third rate opponents before then and when his mandatory was called it was a guy who hadn't fought in 2 years and when you saw him he didn't look like a professional boxer of any description, let alone a guy who had earned a mandatory challenge.

If he fought Whyte it would've been the first time he fought a top 5 ranked HW in their prime*. For a guy with 40 fights claiming to be world champion that's not so much to ask?

Wilder is a good guy. What's not good is that he sits within a web containing WBC, Haymon, Finkel and others who have helped to reduce the value of the belt he holds by the longest cherry picking run in boxing.

*that wasn't the highly suspect Stiverne

Being part of the bomb squad is like being part of the mafia. You seen the those godfathers films? Once your in, your part of the crew for life. Joe Joyce joined, this month. The don Al Haymon, sent him over Belfast to confront Dillian Whyte. Joe missed him, and now has to go over the Uk, to finish their unfinished business. He better complete his task, or he won't be initiated into the bomb squad. And will recieve a punishment beating, by all the members. I'm just shining up my knuckle duster too, lol.

Lol believe me Wilder was not happy he had to fight him. He made it known he wasn't happy Stiverne was his mandatory. Stated the same thing as you about not fighting in two years. WBC at fault for that. Only saving grace is he didn't KO Stiverne and now he has.

Wilder paid him to step aside to fight Ortiz. But Ortiz failed the drug test. Fought him anywho.

Wilder has no power over his mandatory. Believe me he would probably be happy if Whyte was. Be able to sell that fight. And I though he would have fought him already if he wasn't with Hearn. Wilder really dislikes Hearn.

Believe Wilder-Whyte would be a fun matchup. But I also don't blame Wilder for going after Ortiz and Fury (better fights) and dealing with his Mando.
