See, now that's how you sell hip-hop to a mainstream audience. hide the rapping. Bury it under dewy pianos and sensitive cooing; sugar-coat it with emo-pop choruses; tuck it behind compressed guitars. Basically put it anywhere listeners are least likely to notice it

 

This is the way hip hop should have been after they ran out of material back in 2000. R&B and Hip Hop killed rock and bamboozeled us with the same **** for 10 years thats why its been the worst music scene of any decade. Now people like Bruno Mars, Knaan, BOB are taking notice we just cant be boxed in as R&B or rappers we need to open up and collaborate. Now even traditional guys like Usher is changing his ****..now youve got this fusion alternative pop whatever you call it but its good.

Theres a few people responsible, Lady Gaga, Timbaland to name a couple

Try a different station. Give a new genre outside the "Rhythmic contemporary" spectrum a try. Find a local college frequency that plays some neo-thrash. Really make an effort to get into acid jazz. Expand your horizons. :deal

New thrash is mostly lame as **** though. Give me some morbid saint, watchtower, vintage Slayer, demolition hammer, sodom, D.R.I...... This new **** is largely infected with the AIDS of -core and the dumber exponents of death metal. Not my jam :deal
