It is not really hard to see. Styles make fights. Martinez has a style to give Floyd some serious problems with his size, jab and great left hand counter that rocked iron chinned PW to sleep. Floyd has the style advantage over Pac same as JMM. Pac has no plan B when he fights. He does the same **** over and over until you can't handle it and just outpaces you. Counterpunchers stop all that **** bc they make you think. Look at Pac in rd 4-5 of the Marquez fight. That is what the fight will look like. Hesitant.

I'm finding it tougher and tougher to envision Roach not throwing in the towel. I just think that stylistically, Pacquiao's going to catch a beating in this one - from every range the fight takes place at.

Amateur right hook LMAO. You mean the one that
he beat Cotto and Margarito with ? The one that ****ed up JMM's face and made him scared to throw combinations and not
throw a punch for half of each of the last 5 rounds ?

Little Zab put Floyd on the canvas with an amateur right hook and Ortiz countered Floyd with his and rocked him back to the
    ropes.

Floyd would get beat every part of the ring vs Pac.
His stamima, speed and chin are more than matched and reflexes and offense Pac destroys him. Floyd been more hurt vs lesser and vs the same more out of shape Mosley.

Most overrated defensive fighter of the modern era.
Even JLC landed over 170 power punches on him in his prime.
Two best WW opponents? 1 knocked him down other had him out on his feet.

Floyd doesn't exactly look for the knockout. He has been more aggressive in his last two performances but he will be ultra cautious against Pac.

You answered ur own question. Floyd being more aggressive and lookin to commit to his punches will play into pacquiao's hands.

Floyd never KOed any fighter who has a future HOF credential.

They believe however that Gatti, Corrales are HOF fighters.

Floyd has never faced an A level prime fighter ever not even in his own prime.
He was knocked down and hurt vs the 2 best WW he faced and both had MAJOR stamina issues.

The OP is a bit ridiculous,it seems he hasnt seen Mayweather at 130. but i wouldnt be so quick to say he would not get KO'd or hurt in the mayweather fight visibly. Pac has never fought anyone with the timing that mayweather has, except Marquez, who isn't as good or strong as mayweather. Marquez has been the only fighter after Pac first came on HBO to legitimately hurt him due to timing.

Mentioning Zab and others, doesn't necessarily mean he can't.

This new Mayweather style like poster said is out to hurt guys.. Usually he is content with just winning on points but Floyd is showing his more aggressive side.. Walking strong guys down fighting in the pocket and still out landing..

Round 3 with Victor he had something like 5 punches landed and when Floyd fights Manny he will want to KO Manny.. If he can outbox him with hard shots I can see Manny getting finished as longs as Floyd keeps his defense up and not get too many hard shots.

    You did not know?

Mayweather woulda, coulda, shoulda knocked out Ortiz eventually anyway. It is just a formality that the cheap shot, superman punch ended it earlier. Otherwise, only an idiot coulda, shoulda, woulda have not seen the exquisite knockout that would, shoulda, coulda happened in round 10.:lol:

I wouldn't say Ortiz was not hurt. i think he did get hurt in the 3rd or 4th, you don't have to be out on your feet to be hurt by a punch. Gander, are you a boxing fan or just a Pac fan? Pac can hurt Maweather, but Mayweather can hurt him as well, due to timing. The way mayweather would hurt pac would have more to do with what Pac is doing wrong, then the power that mayweather has. the jumping in and out, will get him caught. no fighter is invisible and all because a fighter doesnt KO one guy, doesn't mean he can't KO another.
