My favorite style in boxing by far is the slick skilled special fighters. Guys like Leonard, Robinson, RJJ, Mayweather, Ali(before being banned), Whitaker...etc. This is why I've been a fan of Mayweather since 2003 to this day and will forever remain despite my harsh comments about him regarding Pacquiao(who I also support since 2003). Sadly, Mayweather's antics go beyond boxing ability lately. He does have special abilities that can't be taught for sure but his choice of opponents makes his life WAY easier in the ring. Guys like Guerrero, Ortiz, Maidana and Khan are NOT in his league and will NEVER be. I buy all fights and the only Mayweather fight I had to walk away from was Guerrero because it was just too pathetically easy to predict what will happen. The same thing is upcoming with Maidana and soon with Khan(will most likely order that for hilarity's sake). I love to watch this style but at least display it against competent opponents, not guys with zero hope in hell.
Floyds a coward who cherry picks slow straight ahead plodding latinos fighters that fall easily into his defense. Who wants to pay to see that garbage.
He's had his dull fights like everyone else but usually I enjoy his fights. A lot of fights are more exciting than his when seeing it live, but I find a lot of replay value in watching great fighters perofrm, especially looking at the moves they execute. For instance, the 8th round against Hatton when he kept rotating his body to get angles on the body shots. Or Duran in the 3rd Dejesus fight when he was against the ropes, ducked the incoming, and then turned dejesus and hit him in the body. As for buying PPVs, that's a different story. I wouldn't mind paying for fights like him against Alvarez or Cotto. Guys like Maidana, Guerrero, Ortiz, that's a different story
