Why is he FIGHTING Dierry Jean, who was recently dominated by Peterson

When Herrera and Provo both are available????

That is a shi t fight for a guy who is supposed to be a top boxer

I still have my doubts about Crawford,,,, rumors have it Gary Russell Jr KOd Crawford in the amateurs

    Crawford needs to step up

You think Provo or hererra want anything to do with crawford?
Also, jean vs either guy is pickem. Those others are just more well known fighters.

Provod and Herrera have both lost multiple fights, 27-1 looks better on the fight poster.

Honestly I wondered the same thing. I think the answer is that they wanted a sure thing , and a big showcase since his fight will coincide with the GGG-DL replay , and if I recall correctly the Wlad-Fury fight as well.

Herrera would have been too risky.

Provo though would have been explosive one way or another, but probably too risky as well since TC recently moved weight. Even if TC won, Ruslan probably cannot be KOed at 140lbs and thats what TR is looking for with Jean.

This fight would be getting loads more backlash if it was on PBC rather than HBO.
