Edited as I found the full cards.

The fix might have been in.

Judges can add, All three of them gave AWard the 10th round, a round Kovalev clearly won by a larger margin than some of the rounds Wards won. The fix could have been in as by giving Kovalev the 10th, it might have forced a draw or loss on their card, barring say Ward scoring a knockdown.

Fixing a fight can be done late in one round....which is very different that what fans refer to a robbery or bad score card. The fight was close.

Look at how the judged scored the 10th round! Utter BS, Kovalev out landed Ward here by several punches.

Maybe all three judges scoring the round for Ward is evidence that all three thought he'd won it? Like most conspiracy theories, yours is based on a preposition rather than empirical evidence and, therefore, qualifies merely as opinion. An interesting PoV but ultimately of little value.

Yes, when a knockdown happens it's almost always a 10-8 round. Any casual fan knows that.

Kovalev landed more punches and hurt Ward in the 10th, didn't he? Yes.

I disagree 100% if you think this has little value. The art of the fix is can be done subtlety to those who don't look closely at score cards. It happened at the perfect time here.

Now if you think Ward won the 10th, I urge you to watch it and report back. He did not.

Obviously... But DID they score it 10-8 in this/that (Ward/Kovalev) fight?. Is my question. (I haven't seen the official scorecards)

    Punches landed =/= round won.

HBO showed the punches landed in this round. I think Kovalev had a 5-6 punch landed advantage in round ten.

I gave Kovalev the 10th, but it was certainly a close round. In fact, Ward was winning the majority of the round. I thought he threw the round away myself when he got uncharacteristically stupid by showboating a bit, which enabled Sergey to land a stiff jab, and follow it up with a couple of other decent shots.

But this was definitely a close round.

The closest rounds of the fight were (in my opinion) 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, and 12.

My point being, despite the fact I myself gave the 10th to Sergey, it could have still gone to Ward.

You do know rounds are scored on more than merely punches landed, right? I'm not arguing Ward did or did not win the round. But I think when you score rounds as a layman it's important to do so as a judge would: Clean punches landed, effective aggression, ring generalship and defence. You did that, right? You factored all that into your scoring?

Yes, and Kovalev landed the harder in the 10, threw more and landed more. There was the little defense in this round, and the one forcing the action was mostly Kovalev.

Odd, the judges gave the close rounds that I scored to Ward currently, but not one of Kovalev's best to Kovalev?

As I stated Kovalev won the 10th by a larger margin than Ward won some of his.

The significance of this round to any judge who knows how to add is clear. All three went the other way.

    Hmmmm....

I think the judges just favoured wards style. Another set of judges and you would probably have got a different score.

People need to stop calling robbery and imo although i had it 1 round to Kovalev i cant split them whilst ranking p4p.

But had the Judges given the 10th to Kovalev, you have a different result! That is my point. Skullduggery likely happened.

All three went for Ward when he needed it the most. Also, like I said Kovalev won the 10th by a larger margin that some rounds I and all three judges gave to Ward.

Have you seen a fight live? It's scored a little differently based on your vantage point. TV makes it easier.

Forget the word robbery, that is often used for a bad decision where one guy won by 2 or more rounds! This was a fix in a close fight, I think.
