I dont want Calzaghe to lose to Jones in order for this Hopkins/Jones fight to come off. Ive always liked both Hop & RJJ & believe they should have fought when both were as near their peaks as they could be together, maybe 01 or 02. My ideal scenario - that Im 100% sure wont be shared here on general - will be for RJJ to put up a good fight & show he still has some greatness left but to still lose to Calzaghe then if JC wants to retire, fine, he`s earned it... 46-0 will be fine by me... then.... Hopkins/Jones II in a fight were Hopkins wins competitively, then both retire. I doubt it will all unfold like that somehow as boxing is highly unpredictable but here`s hoping. :thumbsup
In perverse way.... I'd like to see Joe lose too.... as I think that would make him hungry for more and he won't have thing thing about defending his "0".... So I RJJ beats him, they have a rematch in Wales... which turns out to be a CLASSIC and then Calzaghe destroys Dawson and shuts the Americans up.... RJJ and Hopkins play-off which Hopkins wins..... and finally Calzaghe rematches Hopkins and beats him...... Here's Hoping!!!!
