No disrespect for Pac. He is a great boxer and the most popular boxer today. Thing is, he is not the boxer that I use to idolize back in the days of Barrera, Morales and Marquez fight.

I was shocked that Pacquiao won over Barrera. Thats the time where I love his skills and work in boxing. He was hungry for a win and aiming to become the best. The Marquez fight was also a great match and never back down till the end. The loss from Morales fight IMO, was the start of his improvement. If I remember, it was the first time I've ever heard Pacquiao saying "Yes, I want a rematch anytime, anywhere!" when a person talked to him and asked if he wanted a rematch against Morales again.

Today if someone ask him if he ever want a match or rematch against "this and that" guy, he mostly said "Ahhh, depends on what my promoter said"...well something like that.

I think Pacquiao back then is a beast compare to the Pacman today. He was so focus of winning and wanted to keep improving. But now, he is now busy with his Politics, singing, and basketball. It seems like he really doesn't want to fight anymore. What do you guys think?

I'm sorry about my grammar.

    it's about money baby!!!!

he's like Mayweather now.. except he keep fighting twice a year.. whoever his promoter put infront of him.... Greedy Arum is about $$$$$$$....

I'd rather watch Pacquiao fight 1000 unknown fighter every month than never:deal

so he should've stayed at lightweight and below?

edit: nah, jk. he's been playing bball, singing, acting etc even before that 'hungry' stage of his career, but back then, those things are not relevant to media. right now, everything is covered.

The hungry Pacman is no more since the Cotto fight. His priorities have changed. After the Cotto fight we started hearing the words 'I already did all I want to do in boxing' and that means Pac started slipping.

It's sad to say but since the Cotto fight, in terms of priorities, Pac is a politician who boxes, not a boxer who does politics.

You want to see a hungry Pac again? Then convince Floyd to get back in the ring. He's the only person Pac will get motivated for.

Pac spoiled you by winning each fight by Beatdown!!!! The difference Is not his opponents, It's because Pac improved so much skill wise that's why he's dominating Big guys.

If it's because he fight weaker opponents then JMM could've stayed in 147 and fight the rest of the welters. Let's see if any of the Lightweights can do the same as pac did?

He only fought one true welter in Clottey who they knew fought out of a shell. Cotto was a t a catchweight below the limit. Him and roach flatly refused to figh Shane Mosley a bit over a year ago. Now that Mosley got beat up by Floyd and drew with Sergio Mora they 're alll over the fight. Which is bull****. They refuse to fight Berto,a true welterweight. Even Clottey was coming off of a loss to Cotto. When is the last time pac fought a guy with a winning record? Not Comming off of a loss? Not at a stupid catchweight ? A legitimate champion ,not a paper champion ? Open your eyes boxing fans!!!

pac seems to be satisfied on all his accomplishments at this stage.
he is literally a part time boxer now!
he might retire sooner, so at least gonna enjoy all his remaining fights for as long as it last.

The only bit I don't like is how he let Margarito off and let it coast to a Decision. You're a fighter :patsch Finish the guy off and give us what we paid for, especially since it was Margarito.
