still none of the above,my guy was said to have fought bareknuckle and he also fought with gloves.Another 2 hints-he actually KILLED a guy in a saloon, and he lost to one of the ring magazine top 100 punchers.

Thanks But we have to wait to make sure, But everything fits.

Dempsey drubbed the featherweight boxer, Tommy Warren, in a "barroom" fight at San Francisco Ca.

He lost to both Walcott and McGovern, who are both in the Top 100 Punchers and HOFers.

Well I have a surprise baby shower/barbecue today for my step son's wife, so I got to help my wife out. Talk to you late tonight.

hh,you done it again, made you work a little towards the answer though haha, "TOMMY WARREN" is correct ,he got into a barroom brawl with "Nonpareil" Jack Dempsey, "Terrible" Terry McGovern KO'd him in 1 towards the end of Warren"s career, McGovern is a top 100 puncher and A HOF'er, "Babados" Joe Walcott as well.Tommy Warren shot and killed Clem Stovall in a saloon in 1892.
