I thought of him too, BUT he beat 7 Champions and if you count Callahan, that would bring it to 8. Mandell, Vince and Joe Dundee, Young Jack Thompson, Gorilla Jones, Freeman and Brouillard. Although, his win over Mandell was a newspaper decision, so it still might be Fields if he is not counting Callahan. I then thought of Brouillard, like in Lou (CLUE). He beat Thompson, McLarnin, Walker, Jeby, Olin and Corbett III.
