I'm not sure if he fought Leon, but it cant be Holmes, the thread starter said that he beat the more famous one (one of the greats of all time, and Leon is certainly not that.)

Not to mention "greatest era." I have considered the Spinks bros, the Baers, the Ruelas bros, even Haglar and Robbie Simms. Just can't get my head around it.

    More than likely.

I've gone through in my head the modern day bros., from 30 years ago to present, which is how long I've been a fan, but I cant put my finger on it......

.....and I'm curious now too.....the thread starter made a mistake and posted this here in the general, looking for an answer, I've gone over to the classic section to see if he's posted it over there, but he has'nt.

An earlier poster said, Ken Norton......

    .....now you're saying Dwight Qawi...

Can you elaborate on why you think you're right?:nut

I didnt fully read the opening post i only read the part about fighting two brothers(Qawi did that)fought in what is considered one of the strongest eras of his divison(The light heavy division when Qawi was there is arguably the strongest era of that division) the only thing that says it cant be Qawi is that he lost to better brother(Michael) and beat the lesser one(Leon) instead of the other way around.

Another one without naming the bros.....

......but I'll save you time, the thread starter says the fighter is a HOF, which would exclude naming any active fighter.
