    Don't know if it counts but Paul Berlenbach was deaf as a child but later regained his hearing following an accident involving an electric wire.
    And he hit hard all right, arguably the hardest hitting light heavy until ageless Archie emerged on the scene.
    Plus he was an olympic wrestling champ so he was truly unique.

    hh, I guess if you throw enough punches you,ll hit the target...
    I had in mind "The Irish Blockbuster", Fitzie Fitzpatrick, of the 1940s..A tremendous punching Lightheavy, and gate attraction, who was deaf..Floored and almost ko'd Ezzard Charles...Hit harder than Gus Lesnevich, but was not as crafty...b.b.

    That's who I named after. I figured it was him because he fought a lot of top boxers like you stated.
