    There is no boxer who had such a varied life..I started out as a jockey,
    became a good fighter,fought 4 champioins.Had to retire with an eye
    injury,and then became an orchestra leader.Became a popular stage actor,after which I became a popular film actor...I did everything well.
    Who was I ?

    Yes jg, it was Canada Lee...I don't think there has been a fighter ever with such a diverse career...I remember seeing him in the movie Lifeboat,and Body And Soul, with John Garfield..As a boxer he tangled
    with 4 champs, Britton. Freeman,Brouillard and Vince Dundee..What a guy
    was he..His son is Carl lee..b.b. :good
