I was the terror of the heavyweight division, defeating two champions. Had I fought 500 years earlier, I might have been accused of being in league with the devil because of my ring technique.
Well, he was a terror in a way, but why would anyone think he was in league with the devil? The fellow I am thinking of was a terror from birth.
Because he went undefeated in the sport of alligator wrestling! He also did bareknuckle street fighting events where 30 men would get in the ring together and last man standing would win. Elmer Ray won every time!
Well Mike Tyson was considered a terror in the heavyweight division.. He beat two champions in Holmes and Spinks, plus had devilish ring techniques like elbowing and ear biting. Not sure if I would say that he was a terror from birth, but certainly did some terrible things in his adult life.
I don't think it's Rex Layne. hmmmm..... I don't think it's Larry Gaines Could it be Tommy Farr? Nooo doubt it I think I got it!!! Max Baer!
Good guess, but was Max Baer really viewed as a terror from birth? I think I've heard some say that he was actually a pretty nice guy.. Personally, I'm all out of guesses. I am whimsically tempted to say " terrible" Tim Witherspoon, even though he's a nice guy to. He does have the right nick name, fought an awkward style and did beat two champs, but I don't think that Fogey considers Tubbs or Page as true champions..
