It's easier for Margarito to scream robbery in hopes people might believe it since he threw away his big payday vs. Cotto. Although, I read Arum still wants Cotto/Margarito so we still might get it. But yes, Williams CLEARLY won.

Disagree. I went home and watched the fight and me and my girlfriend both agreed, Margarito got 2 rounds and 1 generous gift round for showing up. Besides that, Williams made him look like exactly what he turned out to be. An overhyped fighter that FMJ would have destroyed.

it was a stupid fight to take.

    he got a good payday.

but the cotto payday would have eclipsed it.

margo gave his all though and u can't ask for much more than that.

Williams won its that simple, first time i have seen Margo fight and was not impressed,A very poor mans Hatton i thought,if you gonna fight on the inside like that you cant be a slow starter. This is just my opinion because like i said it was my first view of him.

I watched the fight and had it 9-3 for williams. what really surprised me was when i read only 4 boxing writers scored it for Williams out of 13 i believe(?) Can someone tell me where that one came from? and who are these writers working for by the way?

WTF is it with you and this list?? It's meaningless and 3 of the 4 that had Marg winning are MAX related and biased, which leaves 1 lone cowboy riding Marg's jock.

MARGARITO DID NOT WIN THAT FIGHT

It wasnt a draw either!! 115-113 is Williams is as gracious as one can honestly be towards Marg, On my card?? Its more 116-112 Williams.

You wanna believe Marg won?? Fine, but repeatedly posting this BS list of what ceratin "boxing writers" think is ****ing MEANINGLESS especially when 3 of the 4 not only had Marg Pom Pom's, but the on record bias over the last 5 years at least to match. The bottomline is Margarito got outworked and LOST!!! Quit attempting to make ****ing excuses or suspicions around a decision that was CLEAR, with this list.

Kim and Fischer are Max and Spicoli Iole has written over there and his stance is likely kiss ass related to keep in good graces.

Marg didnt win and the bias for him is more than proven over the years at MB.

The poster asked about the list, and I provided it. Do you understand that?

I'm sorry that only 3 of those 11 writers felt Paul Williams won. They're not my opinions, they are the opinions of professional boxing writers.

Ok.. I didnt read where someone asked for it, perhaps I jumped the gun. My apologies.

Yet, in fairness and reality 3 of the 4 who had him winning are biased and on record as such. The "list" isnt meaningful in any way but to expose those biased for Marg. As the overwhelming majority of fans and the THREE JUDGES who's votes counted clearly saw.

    It's all good. :)

I had Williams winning when I scored it, 7-5.

Paul Williams showed he's for real, there's no doubt about that. He showed smarts, chin, heart, and workrate. I give him full props for all of that.
