    Makes a big difference. And even more when sitting at ringside. You can't nearly see everything let alone feel anything watching a fight on a small, medium quality TV screen.
    Most people on this forum won't ever experience it, yet they'll still continue posting ''their scores'', however pointless and useless they are.

    Even if you have the best seats in the house, you get a much better view to judge a fight watching it on TV.

    Actually the view at ring side for a lot of spectators don't give them a nice unobstructed view of the action. There had been talks of changing the judges vantage point to watch the action inside the ring due to a lot of the poor decisions. I don't think it ever went anywhere but I think an actual study showed officials sitting at ring side had a harder time calling fights accurately than if they elevated their seats, offering a better view of the fight.

    Its not the same as watching it on tv especially if you dont have your tv on mute!!!!!

    tv has multiple cameras. there are only 3 judges sitting ringside. not all of them have the same view. they only score what they see.
