I gave floyd round three because he was the more effective boxer of the two. Castillo landed two punches good punches towards the end of the round.

Let me know what is you are smoking. Do you want me break down the punches landed in that round.......... Floyd landed jabs to the body and HEAD in that round. He was making Castillo miss and countering with jabs to the face. Castillo landed nothing until the very end. No way in ****ing hell was this an even round. It was slow paced round with only one fighter landing punches.

Looks like your the only person who watched the fight, I have no idea how anybody can come up with a Mayweather win in this fight there is just no way, Castillo had Floyd fight as if he was someone else, Floyd did not know what to do in there.

he would often switch to southpaw and back to orthodox and back to southpaw when do you ever see Mayweather do that?
Floyd would often give up too much ground, and allow Castillo to drive him in reverse around the ring, How often do you see Floyd give up real estate like that with out charging someone for rent?

Castillo was in total control of that fight, its clear as day by Floyds actions, and re actions during the fight.

You dumb son of a *****..:rofl What part of being injured do you not understand. He could not use his left the way he wanted. He complained in the 2nd round(after winning the round easily) to his ****ing corner. The **** is posted on this same god damn thread. Thats why he was trying to adjust and lead with his right. You guys crack me the **** up.

I had Floyd winning the first 4 rounds. And then I dont remember the rest. I just watched the video of the third round from this thread and Im pretty surprised anyone can give it to Castillo or have it even. Clear round for Floyd IMHO, even though no damage was done, he threw more, connected more, and displayed better defense then Castillo.

I had the same score as Lederman. Although on reflection I feel it might have been a bit wide.

Mayweather landed **** all meaningful the entire rd, I have no problem with anyone giving Floyd the rd because JLC did **** all either except 1 decent punch near the end that pulled level... Ive only seen the fight once before & those rds again obviously, thats twice in all, maybe if I watched them more & more I could judge better but the judges only get one chance & it doesnt really matter to me who won those rds, the fight looked about even to me in the one & only time I watched it in full & Mayweather got the decision.... end of discussion.

Ps. you wouldnt be allowed what Ive been smoking pal.

Any fair observer I think would give round 3 to Mayweather:patsch. Therefore using your scoring and fairly giving round 3 to Mayweather, the fight was a draw at 114-114.

Round 4 was more competitive but another clear Mayweather round. which would give Mayweather the edge at 114-113 Mayweather assuming all your other rounds were fair to both fighters.

I think this thread proves, based on rounds 3 and 4, that persons are feverishly searching for rounds to give to castillo,(e.g. round 3 10-9 castillo)
or rounds to take away from Mayweather(e.g. round 4 10-10).:good

What part of being injured happens in boxing dont you understand this is not a sport in which we tickle each other, Floyd was hurt yes I agree he was hurt but he was hurt and injured by Castillo which lead Floyd to stepping outside of his own game, Castillo took command.

Just becuase a fighter is injured that doesnt give him a break on the score cards.

I agree with whats been said.

Floyd landed many a jab, body and head, in the third round, waltzed Castillo around the ring, and avoids 99% of his offense that round. He won round 3 for me clean, and I won't change my mind.

round 4 was Floyds clearly. No question. Easy round to score.

And, I have Mayweather winning with those two alterations to Dinamita's score.

Close fight, could have gone either way. But clear for either guy? No way.

    .

So Castillo hurt him without hitting him? Prove it, since you are a ****ing psychic friend. He complained about his shoulder or whatever he whispered to Roger and obviously the way Roger reacted he already knew of said injury. So what punch between rounds 1 and 2 hurt mayweathers left arm? Since it was Castillo that did the hurting on his.................Arm? :rofl

"Fights are scored round by round, and Mayweather won the first four rounds. If the argument is that Castillo was robbed, then the argument must also be that Castillo won seven of the eight final rounds. That would have made the score seven to five favoring Castillo. I do not think a strong case can be made that Castillo won seven of the last eight rounds.

Castillo dug himself a hole (really Mayweather dug it for him) in the first four rounds, and as well as he fought the second half of the fight, it was not enough to pull himself out. Without scoring the fight round by round, and instead just watching the entire fight and then declaring the winner, I would have given it to Castillo. But that is not how fights are scored.

Harold Lederman, the unofficial ringside television judge, gave the third round to Castillo, which I think demonstrates that Mayweather suffers from the same scoring syndrome that afflicted Pernell Whitaker. Mayweather is so seldom hit cleanly in his face, that when a clean shot is landed against him it registers all out of proportion in the observer's mind. Meanwhile, the three clean shots Mayweather just landed against his opponent do not make the same kind of impression.

The third round was a good example of this phenomenon. Lederman mentioned that he gave Castillo the third round based on a couple of shots Castillo landed against Mayweather while Mayweather was on the ropes. Those were probably the first times Mayweather had been hit cleanly up to that point in the fight, and it impressed Lederman enough to give Castillo the round.

But I thought that Mayweather won the round based on the clean punches he landed throughout -- punches which our eyes were already accustomed to seeing by that point in the fight."
