The most consistently good natured, creative & Surreal poster around.

I once saw a bunch of text from him that came straight from Duggerman's Ranch, so thought he came from there. But there is no such voice on that website, so it remains a Mystery.

Keep up the hyper-imaginative poetical depth!

What I'd like to know is how much cliche driven rubbish can spew out of one mouth? We are not talking WW1, or WW2 here, we are talking a mere 40 years ago. It may surprise you to know but there are billions of people all over the planet who " lived through " 40 year old times, and probably a fairly good percentage on this board.

Besides that though, your knowledge of Frazier is less than zero, as evidenced by your even bigger cliched garbage about him smashing cheek bones, eye sockets, and hitting like a Mack truck, when he did NO SUCH THINGS.

But that won't stop you living your pathetic fantasies, no matter how many posters post clips of Frazier hitting guys hard with his right hand, you will stick to your warped belief that he was a " one handed " fighter.

If you actually had a brain you would be dangerous.

Out of interest where in the rules does it say you can't push a man back into a punching range that suits you, rather than him?

What was Frazier gonna do? Yell, " hey ref, he won't let me get close enough to hit him.":patsch

Under fouls number 6. You could also consider it a violation of the rule to not hit with an open glove.

Honestly though a lot of refs won't call it, the same way many won't call ducking under the belt line.

In fairness I would say that was open to many interpretations tbh.

Pushing an opponent about the ring or into the ropes.

Is pushing an opponent off, pushing him about the ring, or into the ropes?

He definitely isn't " hitting " Frazier with an open glove, so that doesn't hold water. In fairness I would say Foreman could say to the ref he was doing his best to avoid getting butted when he employed the " pushing off " tactic, and get no further warning, due to the fact that he was something of an upright fighter, and taller than most of his opposition due to his stance.

No one who knows boxing and lived through the era Frazier fought would say he had a right hand. He was 85-90% left hook. Right hand was window dressing. He never KOed or even knocked down any noted hwt with his right hand. With Joe if you control his hook, no easy task, you win because he is doing little to win the bout with his right.

Too bad Manuel Ramos and Jerry Quarry aren't around to set you straight on this "window dressing" foolishness.

It was a positioning tactic devised by Sadler and Moore to keep Frazier away from George. Frazier absolutely needed to get inside GF's punching radius and stay very tight to fight his fight.

The tactic worked. Mercante didn't stop it. Control was established early against slow starting Joe and when that brutal uppercut landed causing the second knockdown that was all she wrote.

But it is against the rules.
