And i started thinking how much that means about Cotto. he didnt just beat quintana he brutalized the guy. And quintana just outboxed the "feared" Paul Williams. Amazing. This isnt a thread about whether Cotto can or cannot beat Mayweather so we dont need that ****. And i know this has been posted before, but wow. Cotto is a beast. check out this highlight video. he was SICK as a youngster, so fast and powerful. hes still sick today. hopefully he can get by Gomez and fight margorito or cintron. and i love how he fights anyone his promoter puts in front of him without calling anyone out or talking about money. he said one day that he wants to beat everybody and leave a mark on boxing history like his idol carlos ortiz. he is a FIGHTER AND A PROFESSIONAL. We should all appreciate him whether you think hes the best in boxing today or not.

    thank you.

You have a good point. I mean, it really does say something about how special Cotto is.

Yeah, I just watched that fight too. Quintana did well in spurts, but Cotto was just too good, and too damn strong for Carlos.

I am not a Cotto fan at all, but the guys strength at 147 is very impressive. Even Shane was having problems with his physical strength.

The guy has a low center of gravity I guess.

yeah, i mean he looked like a ****in tank at 140 pounds but with that move up his strength is crazy :scaredas:

mosley had a very hard time moving him and shane isn't exactly weak.

Yeah, Cotto isn't as nimble or quick on his feet at 147, but his physical strength is more apparent. And he doesn't have to fight in spurts.

Also, he obviously takes shots much better @ 147.

I think he will give PBF a good fight, but I think Floyd decisions Cotto.

I have appreciated the guy since I saw him fight Randal Bailey. I'm not claiming he is the best . . . but I'm saying he can give anybody hell at welter. He gets hurt too . . . just like the rest but he recovers fast and punishes his opponent to submission.

It's the electricity and action that he brings inside ring that makes me root for him.

It just means that Cotto is maybe a cut above some of the very best fighters in the deepest division in boxing now. He has taken some great strides in his career.

Cotto is a very special fighter and he should still get better as time passes. He is a force to be reckoned with at Welter.

Great video....thanks. I've watched every one of his fights. He gets better and better...if that is at all possible. He's to his division, what Tyson in his heyday, was to his.

    He's great!
