I was on target in my prediction of "Mayrunner-Mosley."

I basically told anyone and everyone who cared to listen to me at work all last week that "Mayrunner-Mosley" would appear to be a high-profiled sparring match in which Fraud Mayrunner would be just a hair too young and slick for the aging / fading but still game Shane Mosley in Las Vegas..... As it turned out, that was indeed the case.....

I thought Shane Mosley showed a glimpse of hope when he landed a right hand fireball to Fraud Mayrunner's head in round 2, but Mayrunner took the shot pretty well and was able to recover. Other than that, the fight was pretty scripted in that Fraud Mayrunner was able to dictate the tempo and controll the action from long range.. No, not a classic fight at all, but did anyone really expect a serious fireworks display between two ring technicians???

As for a proposed "Mayrunner-Pacquiao" fight goes, well, I'm sure that will stall to death at the negotiations table later this year. I also believe that Fraud Mayrunner is too big and spry for the smaller but rugged Manolo Pacquiao... Basically, I doubt that match will get made.... I see the two fighters going in seperate directions at this here juncture.... Cheers.....

Fraud Mayrunner didn't really need to run away since Shane Mosley was age 38 and obviously slowed to a crawl here in 2010.... On the whole, Mosley is still pretty quick, but he now needs to be matched properly against slower and stiffer fighters who look to attack with aggression, rather than face a slick boxer with youth and speed who sharp-shoots from the outside..... Fraud Mayrunner's style was a bad match for the aging Mosley..... However, I knew that all along..........

I'll give Fraud Mayrunner his props for being a skilled boxer, but I still cannot tolerate listening to his comments and rants during his press interviews..... 'Nuff said there....
