I was rooting for Williams and I even had him losing 10-2

I'm a semi fan of PW. I like his style and I felt that he was going to get back in to his game last Saturday night.

After watching this fight 4 times its the same thing everytime though! Williams loses!

He did nothing to show me that he had recovered from the previous ko...infact it looked as if he was still shaking off the Martinez 1 punch knock out..

Paul Williams is done and I don't see him doing much of anything for the rest of his career.

Lara is pissed and rightfully so....I mean even the people (ones I know) who were going for PW say he lost..

Guy just has to accept that he is no longer the most feared man in boxing and he is finished.

Anyone arguing PW won that fight is crazy...The guy looked shot and he was wobbled by almost every punch late in the fight!

IF HE FIGHTS MARTINEZ HE IS GETTING KNOCKED COLD AGAIN TOO..

I was being generous to Williams so I had the fight 8-4 instead of 9-3 like most.

Yea I was hoping for the old Pwilly, but its obvious Sergio damaged him. His timing was off, pressure was not there he looked slower than ever even tho never a speed freak, but if it was the Pwilly that went to war with Sergio the first time, Lara might of been in trouble. But reality is Lara owned Williams that night. He has no chance with Lara not even a prayer vs Sergio.

His trainer is what ruined him. Peterson is way out of his league. He didn't teach Williams much, that's for sure.

I had it 8-4. Not nearly as horrible as people are making it sound. Klitschko/Haye was a letdown, so the boxing community needs to find the next thing to jump on to ***** about.

Yup, not a close fight. Williams didn't learn anything from his past losses. He's the same fighter, only he's regressed. Maybe he maxed out his potential (doubt it)...but shame on his corner for not trying to improve him or get him to even keep his damn hands up. Peterson's a joke.

Yea when Peterson kept bringing up "You cant prepare for a punch you cant see" thats just wrong. Sergio was throwing that punch over and over it wasnt a punch you couldnt see its one you ignored. Pwilly is a warrior, but he has close to no boxing IQ and now that his body is failing him his ring smarts would of helped him.

Re-watched the fight muted had P Williams winning 114-113. Originally had it 10-2 Lara.

Peterson never gave PW one techincal advice during the fight that i can recall. All i kept hearing from him is the general statement that he was letting Lara get off first which is bull**** because it was PW who was the aggressor. He just had no regard for defense and came in wild. That was his problem.

But did you re-watch it with the sound off?

I heard that if you do, you'll score it a draw.
