I could hit..out of my 17 wins ,I kod 16 opponents..i hit so hard that I knocked myself out. I was counted out by the referee...who am I.?
Hmm... I don't know, if this is what you're looking for, but: Popular Irish heavyweight Jack Doyle once fell through the ropes after missing a punch - and failed to make it back into the ring in time to beat the referee's count.
Boxed ears, said you were acummin, and here you are B... yes it's Jack Doyle "The Irish Thrush ", who on Sept 27,1938, while fighting heavyweight Eddie Phillips, through a roundhouse right, and missed completely. Doyle's momentum, carried him over the ropes. He hit his head hard on the ring apron, knocking himself unconscious, and then fell on the floor below..The referee counted Jack Doyle OUT. Amazing, but true.. Jack Doyle was a great Irish tenor, and can be seen singing "The Rose of Tralee " on youtube before his ill fated ko by Buddy Baer...B, your'e good!!!
haha, i saw him sing on youtube a while back...didn't buddy try to sing to, not quite successfully, on that clip?
Yep, the clip shows Buddy Baer singing [or trying to sing] to his brother Max Baer, while training for his ko victory over Jack Doyle ,J....
He didn't need any help against Buddy Baer though: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqqAgFqJllQ[/ame] 6:50
Great A, I see Primo carnera Koing Ernie Schaaf with a left jab.The crowd booed Schaaf who never regained consciousness, and died soon after..Poor Schaaf a great prospect was knocked unconscious by Max Baer a few months before... Wasn't that Firpo Koing Jess willard ? Clumsy but powerful was Firpo.. And Paolino Uzcudun, koing Harry Wills in 1927. One clip is Buddy Baer koing who ??? Can't make out who Buddy Kod ?
