I bought some fight films off of him, and he added me on facebook. He has some wonderful photographs on there, of his dad working the corner of such men as Bruce Curry, Roger Mayweather, and Orlando Canizales. I particuarly like the one of him holding Orlando in the air after his 14th title defense. In any event, he was a really nice fella who loves to talk about Boxing. He just went onto my pictures where I have photos of my favorite fighters and he gave me some insights. These are his 10 favorite fighters of all time. Roberto Duran, Marvin Hagler, Niccolina Locche, Archie Moore, Rocky Marciano, Alexis Arguello, Aaron Pryor, Matthew Saad Muhammed, Orlando Canizales, Wilfredo Gomez. I posed the question to him who he thought would have won between Canizales, who his das was with since the ameateur days, and Carlos Zarate at Bantamweight. He might be bias, but I agreed with his brief assessment. He seemed to think that the movement and angles of Orlando would have caused havoc for a fighter like Zarate, who was straight up and down. Orlando had a good chin so he could have absorbed what did land, and he'd see it to a decision. This content is protected Cool pic of Jesse with Bruce Curry.
