Dlh is shot. He doesn't need your sympathy, he is rich, and you can't really dis him for taking this fight. You guys were blind to the fact about size, losing weight, and not seeing the reality of the situation. Pimp, you don't have to apologize. This was Dlh's last ditch effort to turn back the clock. He found out yesterday you can't beat father time. Losing weight at 35 is impossible when you have to fight the 4th best fighter pfp in the world who is 29 and only has to gain weight. Yes, Floyd, Cal, and Hop are higher than Pac. The hate doesn't stop with me lol...

I wanted Pac to win but didnt think he would. Unbelievable!

Oscar did loose but he lost with at least 30mil going into his bank account so he wasnt upset for long.

 

I was wrong about the fight to, eating crow along with you, clearly I didnt expect to see Oscar beat in this fashion but having followed the sport long enough hell you dont have to have followed the sport long enough to see that Oscar clearly was not himself on saturday, and its wasnt all Pacquiaos doing, Oscar just couldnt let his hands go.

A clearly shot De La Hoya, and what gets me is that most people here avoid to admit as much, Pacquiao did what he was supposed to do no doubt he came to win the fight, but lets not over credit his win neither, DLH clearly was not well, either the weight loss or his age or both showed up that night.

its almost strange to imagine he would get owned like this, sure he lost all of his big fights but those were all either SD losses or MD losses and one TKO by Bernard Hopkins which still isnt bad when you stack it all up, However this fight was something different all together this is what happens when you continue to push your body to the limits it bit Oscar in the ass but atleast he has a nice paycheck to go home with.

 

What gets me is how Everybody seems to act like Pacquiao beat DLH, That isnt what beat Oscar, what beat Oscar was his age, lack of reflexes and ability to pull the trigger mixed in with the scales.

Yes Pacquiao won the fight, but he beat a clearly shot and weight drained Oscar, Oscar didnt have anything and it wasnt soley based on what Manny was doing, Oscar was obviously clearly affected by the weight and by the time he has been in the sport, I mean damn it was 13 years ago when he beat Chavez, lets be real with it for a second here!!!

Yes Pacquiao won, but that doesnt make Manny Pacquiao the best thing since sliced bread. I did predict a DLH win but that has nothing to do with the facts that are at hand, if you do not think DLH is shot or was affected by the weight then you Do not know boxing period and are nothing more than either a huge nuthugger or hater.

but if you fail to own up to DLHS age and lack of nutrition along with his reflexes than that means Pacquiao is better than Mayweather Jr, Hint hint Mr Pimp C.

I don't understand some Pac fans running around giving props to people admitting they were wrong, when it seemed to me Pac fans themselves were writing Pac off before the fight. Most of the people who picked Oscar were going for Pacquiao anyway... it confuses the **** out of me.

Many of PAc's fans were scared for PAc, but they didn't really scout Dlh. They want to legitimize this fight with Dlh as a great win. When they see the fight Saturday, they will see how bad Dlh looked.

 

watch some of Hoya's latest fights..none of his opponents fought the way Manny did. He was darting in and out so fast that DLH didnt have the chance to execute his gameplan. Pbf is one fast dude, but when he fought DLH, he was fighting defensively, and he was waiting to engage, which is a very dangerous plan if Pac was to use it. PBF is good at what he does, his game plan works for him and he almost always dictates a fight. As for Pac, we all know he's this non-stop offensive machine, he boxed beautifully, and focused in the middle of the ring to maintain distance. Cant even remember where he was on the defensive?!? Not a lot of fighters can move up 2 divisions and maintain their speed and agility. Hard to believe, but this win is special. definitely the number ! fighter right now!
