I genuinely thought he was cashing out because I just couldn't see a way he'd be able to get back to that sort of conditioning that soon.

Well he totally proved me wrong.

Going into round 12 I thought just play it safe and you will 11-1 him here

Then when he went down I thought oh man Wilder is the jammiest guy ever

But Fury got up in crazy scenes.

I had fury winning every round bar the knockdown.

I pick Fury to beat Wilder OR AJ , my only concern is that knockdown in the 12th, that could possibly have some lasting chin repercussions because that was as brutal a KD as you'll ever see.

As for Wilder Vs AJ I still feel the same way, Wilder always gets caught heaps and against opponents above bum level he doesn't get going until the final 3rd of the fight, AJ will catch him long before then and stop him

Fury should be able to avoid Joshua for 12 rounds though so I pick him there

    I'm eating humble pie too.

I'm getting used to it. I stuffed my face with it after the Klitschko fight.

I honestly never thought Fury would be more than a domestic champion. Totally underestimated his skills.

    Fair play to you.

I called it wrong too but I weren’t wrong about Fury’s ability, I’ve never doubted that just more the condition he was in and the condition he would need to be in defeat Wilder.

I got this wrong as well tbf, not because I didn't rate Fury's ability but I felt he was done after what he did to his body. He looked really good though, I still feel the Wlad Fury was a level above the current version but what I saw against Wilder restored my faith in Fury as an elite level heavyweight.

    Fair play!

ONE thing I did love, was seeing Freddie Roach in the press conference afterwards. For someone who appears to be extremely serious he actually was really enjoying the Tyson Fury show. Could imagine him being part of the team long term.

I think 99% of us got it wrong in terms of his conditioning.

Also Fury won me over this week, i never really took to him as a person but i have genuinely warmed to him.

Credit where it's due inferno. I've called many fights and fighters wrong in my time. Everybody does. It's great to see people hold their hand up. It's the idiots who remain digging their heels in, justifying the draw or a Wilder win, who are the real poison on this forum. @TonyHayers take note.

I think this is very unfair. If you look at what I said before the fight in the predictions thread I suggested Wilder would win a close, contested points decision in a fight that Tyson would be competitive in - far more than those suggesting he'd be bombed out in a few rounds. I even said that what may work against Tyson was his relatively little punch output. He's good at not getting hit but doesn't actually land that much.

I don't know why but this has you suggesting I'm a hater 'poisoning the forum.' I'd suggest you maybe need to calm down a bit in your hero worship and realise that people don't have to agree with you that it was some unreal masterclass. Tyson did well, but not to the extent you think he did.

Pretending to justify a draw is a poison on this forum. It's only people who hate Fury or love Wilder too much who are sad enough to try and justify a draw in that fight.

I never asked anyone to agree it was a masterclass. I just asked for the fight to be scored fairly. You're incapable of doing so, blinded by your hate. Even your poster boy Eddie Hearn gave it to Fury by two points. Anthony Joshua has today said "Well done Fury."

Fury is a hero. Where he's come from to where he is now is extraordinary, and my analysis and praise hasn't been any more over the top than the average person who rightly scored the fight for Fury.
