You don't back a slow slugger like Tavoris Cloud against an extremely skilled old veteran. Much like you don't get all hyped over some glass jawed british heavyweights who had been sparkled in the amateurs.
Cloud already got a gift against Campilo. So it is good that he lost against B-Hop!Hopkins is just the better man. No need to find exuces like "oh cloud did not what he is able to do" or "he had a bad day". No Cloud was just the worst title holder in this division and is just not good enough to hold it any longer!
Bhop froze the kid by giving him constant movement, angles and feints. Bernard was able to walk Tavoris around the ring like a dog and he fell into a Bernard Hopkins trap. Cloud was looking for the openings and waiting for the right time when he should have just realized he was going to eat some shots.....and to just go in there and apply pressure. Hopkins kept the kid honest by giving him food for thought.....popin' him with the striaght right and digging well placed body shots to the mid section whenever Cloud did get inside. Bhop controlled every aspect of the fight and Cloud was stuck fighting a fight he couldn't win.
