I was wrong, Pacquaio loses to NO ONE at 140

I was just thinking, the reason that Marquez hired Angel Heredia was because Manny Pacquiao and Freddie Roach insisted that a 3rd fight between them be at 147 lbs.

Since Marquez did'nt carry the extra weight well from throwing boulders over his head in the Mayweather fight, for the Pacquiao fight at welter, Marquez decided to hire a professional physical trainer and nutritionist.
The rest is history, Heredia did a fine job of making the best out of Marquez carrying around the extra weight.

If there's a 5th fight between them, it should be at 140 lbs, where originally Marquez wanted it.

Tyson is listed @ 5'11", but I can assure you that he is indeed not that tall.

 

Possible but not if he takes the kind of punishment he was taking before scoring the come from behind KO is rd 6 of the last fight.....I'd like to see Tim and Juan do it again, this time at 140. It would be a good set up for the 5th fight between him and PAC at welterweight. I think there's a market for it.

 

You are most likely right about that......I've seen Mike in person and i said the same thing......I made sure he didn't hear me .

If pac and jmm were a few years younger, I would opt for the same. These guys are at the end of their careers and have fought each other 4 times. They are still elite and top p4p so I would love to see them fight other top fighters.

Yes Oscar was a Beast but when stepping up and fighting great boxers like Shane Mosley, Bernard Hopkins, Felix Trinidad....De La Hoya loses.

 

Shane, Trinidad and Hopkins were all top @ top of the division at the time. Also a case can be made for Oscar beating Shane the 2nd fight, Oscar definitely beat Felix and he lost to Hopkins no excuses. All aside from Hopkins were excellent close fights.

De Las Hoya just had the perfect mix of aggression/boxing and used his height/reach to perfection . You can't compare hatton, cotto, margo to a roided shane, prime Felix (who lost) and a bigger Hopkins.

 

My exact sentiments on the Margarito fight.
Cotto, in hindsight they should've gone the full 147, seeing how it tarnished that monumental win for Pac. But at the time that the contract was signed, it was a reasonable catchweight since, as we can all see now, Pac is a reasonably small WW and Cotto is a reasonably big puncher even at WW. It's not all about reach and height, it's about mass/bulk and being able to carry your power up in weight (and being able to absorb the increased punishment as well), to which team Pac still had question marks all over, at the time the fight vs Cotto was made.
ODLH, it was all Oscar's fault. Hard to put the blame on team Pac then. I have mixed feelings about whether it should have ever happened. On one side, it catapulted Pac to stardom and opened up fights against Hatton and Cotto. On the other side, it was sh%t.:rofl

 

Yes, you're wrong! Pacquiao is not unbeatable. He makes mistakes and will be exposed at 140 against a big PUNCHER! Mark my words..

 

Hatton wasn't a great fighter , poor defense and terrible jab , but Pacquaio put on the best performance of the last decade in under six minutes at 138.
