you call calzaghe a fraud but dirrell and ward are great.your from the states are'nt you.there there now, there there.
Dirrell had a good game plan against AA that night - a game plan that only few boxers are able to execute well. This said, there's no way that green would KTFO Abraham. Also Ward won't be able to do a "Dirrell" on Abraham. The king is better than most people believe.
Wtf are you talking about? Watch here: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pT-iXIe1YCA&feature=related[/ame] 5:51 you can see it CLEARLY. You can see that the glove connects to his head and Dirrells head reacts with moving backwards because of the impact. Dirrell also seems to have a "hurt" face expression when sliding backwards on his ass, but seems to recover quickly. But that may be a bit over interpretedd Also watch 3.13, low blow. 4.55 Dirrell very low. I know that Dirrell clearly dominated and outboxed him, but there were a few dirty things going on. I was shouting at my tv, my mother woke up at 6 in the morning and came in my room to see, if everything was alright :hi:
What I was wondering thoughout the Dirrell fight is why Abraham just did some things not he normally does. I saw every fight of his that was televisioned and he didn´t really look as if he was at his best. And that had nothing to do with Dirrell. Normally he works the body and he´s a very good puncher. Against Dirrell he hardly wen to the body despite his trainer telling him to do so. Normally Abraham uses the uppercut, and he has a good one. Against Dirrell he didn´t despite his trainer telling him to do so. His defence was not as compact as usual, his jab was **** and hardly thrown. To me it looked from the beginning as if he was just waiting for the one big shot. I have theories why this may be the cause. Both spell trouble for his future. 1. He has the "Pince" Hamed syndrom. He started believing in his wont hype. Especially after the Taylor fight. The hype that he can knock out everybody and thus he only focus on that: the one big shot to knock the oponent out. This may work against lesser fighters but not against very good ones like Dirrell. If this is the case, the Dirrell fight may have took away his confidence and he may never be the same. Or his trainer get´s him straight again. 2. he´s slipping. He is already over 30 and is at the top for a long time. Perhaps he just is past it. I don´t want to take nothing away from Dirrell. He fought a very good fight and followed a great gameplan. Good work.
He unloaded fast, good combos in Taylor fight. Of course it was later in the fight because he does start slow but still the guy has handspeed.
