Dirrell was negative, yes, still he was the better man and clearly won, but got robbed.

since when are fights scored based on people complaining, falling to the canvas unintentionally or the fact that since once man is the champ and the other is the challenger suddenly the champ has the the edge regardless if they are swinging and hitting air all night? Fights should be scored on a round by round basis and regardless of when he "ran" or held etc dirrell won more rounds than froch. Froch was made to look like a complete simpleton hitting air all night. This is coming from someone who became somewhat of a Froch fan after his taylor fight but the dirrell fight made me understand just how horrible his technique is. Just look at froch's face when the decision was announced. Even he knew he was lucky to come away with a W. Dirrell should be 2-0 in this tournament with both wins coming by way of two bonafied champs. Based on all the performances so far, USA>europe

Why are people still talking about this fight? It was possibly the worst bout I saw last year. I gave it to Dirrell, but it was close, and fights that close are NOT robberies. And I'm glad they gave it to Froch. It looks like Dirrell learnt to fight as a result, which he clearly didn't when getting the win in horrible style against Curtis Stevens.

Honestly, if Dirrell had gotten the win in that fight - it would have been horrible for boxing and boxing fans. Because that would send the wrong signal to fans about what boxing is. Boxing is not only takes a lot of skill, but is also exciting! What Dirrell did was not one bit exciting.

Dirrell himself probably benefitted more than anyone from the loss. Look at how much better he was for most of the Abraham fight. If he keeps improving like that he will be a world wide fan favorite in a few fights.

IF he had won the Froch fight - he would just have continued running - and noone would want to see his fights.
