I am to target March 2023 for Boxing training. I'll be 29 in July. Anyway, by the time I'm fully trained I'll be 31, so will it be too late to do a couple of regional pro fights?

Depends on how talented you are, might not be late to do a couple of those fights. But you really have to work you *ss off, you risk to face people who train boxing for way longer.

"Fully trained" and when so can't be predicted.

What does "fully trained" mean. And what makes you think you'll be "fully trained" by 31? Also, just wondering, why are you putting off starting until March?

This question is asked a fair bit and I always answer the same - just get on with it. If you want to box then go for it. Nobody here can predict how far you'll get or how quickly. Start training and see how you go, you may end up hating it and quit after a few weeks. You may end up being decent and making a bit of money. Who knows?

Fully trained means just that, fully trained a certain length of time. I just want to do it as a hobby and competition.

But what does that mean to you? It doesn't actually mean anything in terms of boxing which is why I'm asking what you think it means and why it'll take just 2 years?
